Supreme is known to be one of the popular brands among streetwear fans. But there have been a lot of controversies about the quality the brand is made of. In this article, I will discuss with you on whether or not Supreme clothing is good quality and where it is made.

Is Supreme Clothing Good Material?

This is a self-imposing question. The answers should be based on what your definition of how good clothing material looks like and the satisfaction you intend to derive from getting the supposed good clothing material. If you compare Supreme to most other brands of streetwear, you'll find that there is homogeneity to other companies that Supreme doesn’t have.

From my own experienced and review of some other Supreme fans, it can be deduced that some of the brand’s clothing is made of good materials while others are made of average quality materials. There are times you buy the clothing, and it feels thin to the extent you can almost see through the material, but there are the thick ones too.

For example, the Supreme hoodie is made from a high-quality silk material, which implies that it is long lasting and quite durable. For the Supreme clothing, the stitches are appropriately aligned with no rough edges because they are well stitched by professional tailors. Additionally, the logo of the Supreme has an Eye-catching effect. Though it may have a dull look, the letters are stuck on the material to bring out that fashion sense from the clothing material.

Where is Supreme Made?

James Jebbia who was born in the United States founded the brand. This New York brand has opened more than ten stores with each located in different part of the world. This includes Los Angeles, New York, London, Paris, and Tokyo to mention a few. Since the establishment of the brand, it has amassed a following of skateboarders, collectors, disciples, and yes, even haters. Despite many people craving for the brand, most people don’t know where the brand is made.

At this point, it is good to let you know that Supreme uses different manufacturing and supplier sites. But some of their products are manufactured in Canada and the US while others are made in China. Although it might be difficult to find information on the brands manufacturing, I know the company is vertically integrated. This can make Supreme have more items drops with limited edition and have a significant turnover.

Is Supreme Worth the Price?

On a basic scale, the clothing line doesn’t reflect the asking price. Two factors contribute to the high cost of the Supreme. These are its resale and its collaboration with luxury brands such as Gucci, Nike, and Luis Vuitton to mention a view. It partnerships make die-hard fans to be ready to pay any price to have the brand’s product despite the less improvement in its quality.

The resale price is the other insane part about Supreme. During Supreme drop day, they often release a selected amount of items which makes them limited. This makes a lot of the item prices jack-up. For example, if you buy a Supreme Brick from the Supreme store, it is worth about $50. Of course, this might already be too much to ask for just a brick. However, the resale value of brick can be around $120.

Supreme is a good brand from the outlook. The only snag about the brand especially the clothing is that it comes at an outrageous price. If you are a die-hard fan of this brand and don’t want to be cheated and worry about fakes, I will obviously advise you to buy from legit Supreme sellers ONLY.
